What is e-Acquire360
e-Acquire360 is a comprehensive solution to streamline procurement processes in steel service centers and related industries. It is overseen by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and was developed in collaboration with mills, steel service centers, and software vendors like Enmark. It was designed to eliminate the need for outdated data exchange methods, such as email or fax. e-Acquire360 includes guidance on exchanging information throughout the procurement process, including RFQs, POs, and ASNs.
How it works
In Eniteo, e-Acquire360 enables the exchange of ASNs using XML files. These files contain detailed information about shipments, such as:
- Product codes
- Item quantities
- Heat numbers
- Mill and Vendor tag numbers
- Chemical and physical test results
- Shipping details
When materials are sent or received, ASNs can be imported into or exported from Eniteo electronically.
