Features

Scanning Modes

  • Physical Inventory Mode: Focuses solely on inventory management during inventory counting.
  • Operations Mode: Serves as a day-to-day operations mode.

Location Barcode Scanning

Scan physical location barcodes affixed to racks, bins, and staging areas to instantly set or change locations across Physical Inventory, Update Location, Cutting, and Tag Picking workflows. See Scanning Location Barcodes for details.

Company Codes

In addition to a username and password, users must provide a Company Code to access the app, increasing data security. This code is unique to each organization.

Note: The Company Code is located at the top-left corner of the Eniteo window title bar within your live environment. This code remains consistent across both testing and live environments.

Reporting

  • Barcode Scanning Audit: Uses existing Audit Log records to generate a comprehensive report, offering versatile presentation options to facilitate analysis. Sorting options include Date, User, and Load to review scanning activities chronologically, establish a chain of command, and track transactions based on area.
  • Barcode Tag Corrections: Identifies discrepancies detected during scanning operations, halting invoice creation and billing until issues are resolved.

Transaction Audit Logs

  • Tracks Inventory Count and Location Change, Picking, Loading, and Cutting transactions.

Benefits

Scanning devices can be integrated into workflow processing using the Eniteo Scanning app, increasing productivity and efficiency on the shop floor.

Conducting Physical Inventory

Maintain accurate item quantities and tags by tracking physical inventory while recording workflow activities for any warehouse location or area. Location barcodes can be scanned to quickly set the active location during counting.

Updating Tag Locations in the Warehouse

Relocate material directly from the shop floor by scanning tags to specify the number of pieces to move from their current location to another. Location barcodes can be scanned to set the destination location.

Picking Material

Select materials from the warehouse and prepare them for shipment to customers, vendors, or other warehouses, including accessing open reservations awaiting shipment and transferring materials to staging locations.

Loading Material for Shipment

Load materials onto trucks using scanners by scanning printed load sheets from Eniteo or accessing load lists.

Cutting

Cut material from the shop floor without a production order. Location barcodes can be scanned to set the location for cut material.

Compatible Scanners

To use Eniteo Scanning, you must have a compatible scanning device. Eniteo Scanning can be used with Honeywell and Zebra Scanners.
