As always, keep in mind that new menu options won’t initially be available to any of your Capstone users. (Users can be given access to new menu options via the Manage Users and Manage User Groups programs.)
Also keep in mind that, when a user permission such as “Allowed to delete a sales order line?” shown below is added, the response will be set to the value that will maintain the status quo for all users and user groups. (The Manage Permissions screen shown below is accessed via the Manage Users or Manage User Groups program.)
As shown below, the Enter/Edit Sales Transactions screen’s Line Detail grid can now be customized via the Manage Branches screen’s Sales tab. (The brief item description, order quantity, size, and unit price are always displayed.)
When the purchase order line type is set to either “Buyout Sales Order” or “Special-Order Sales Order”, in addition to the sales order number and line number, the Internal Purchase Order document now lists the customer’s name.
The setting shown below has been added to the Manage Item Categories screen. When set to Yes, the Enter/Edit Sales Transactions program will, by default, include skid revenue in the unit price of all items associated with the category. (The sales rep can adjust this setting on a case-by-case basis.)
The Sales Order Loads export now includes columns for the Primary and Prepared-By sales rep.
The Enter/Edit Sales Transactions program no longer applies discounts to Non-Inventory lines.
A column labeled “Discount %” has been added to Sales Invoices and Sales Invoice Lines exports.
The low or high length range for a random-length standard size can now be equal to the nominal length of the standard size.
