Release Notes for v23.05:

When possible, the Sales Order Loading Ticket and Packing List Loading Ticket documents now list the quantity in pieces, even when the order quantity was not specified in pieces.

The Manage Sales Tax Jurisdictions program now allows a jurisdiction to be designated as Canadian GST or HST. When a jurisdiction is designated as GST or HST, Capstone ignores customer resale certificates.

The primary sales rep is now displayed on the Sales Order Shipments screen accessed via the Sales Order Shipments Inquiry program.

As shown below, an added value type can now be dedicated to transportation.

A sales order line associated with an open work order or purchase order can no longer be closed.

When unstaging a tag associated with a complex customer part, you must specify a standard widget item to unstage the tag into.

When unstaging a tag associated with a special-order item, you must specify a compatible standard item to unstage the tag into. For example, if the special-order item is "Special-Order Titanium Bar", you must unstage the tag into an item such as 0.375" 6AL-4V Titanium Round Bar.

The Low Stock export now supports minimum values defined in months.

A new program called Update Sales Order Customer Purchase Order will allow you to edit the customer purchase order number associated with a specified sales order. Keep in mind that, if any of your employees will be using this program, you must give them menu access via either the Manage Users or the Manage User Groups program.

The Fulfill Sales Orders program's Process function now supports random-length inventory.

A note can now be associated with an item via the Manage Items program. Clicking the Note button on the Item Lookup and Advanced Item Lookup screens will display this note. In addition, clicking the View Item Note button on the Enter/Edit Sales Transactions program's Line Detail screen or the Enter/Edit Purchase Orders program's Line Detail screen will display this note.

The Sales Tax Liability report has been replaced by the Sales Tax Liability export.

The Manage Login Sessions program now displays sessions for all branches. (Previously, it only displayed the sessions associated with the current branch.)

As shown below, the last purchase cost, the current replacement cost, and the discrete pricing cost are now displayed in the lower-left corner of the Enter/Edit Purchase Orders program's Line Detail screen. If the user has access to the Manage Replacement Costs program, he or she will be able to add a new replacement cost record. In addition, if the user has access to the Manage Pricing Costs program, he or she will be able to update the discrete pricing cost.

As shown below, filters have been added to the Manage Traceability Entities program.

A new setting has been added to the Manage Customers program's Documents screen. This setting is labeled “Display the customer’s physical address in the “Sold To” section of customer-facing documents other than the Invoice?” The Invoice document will continue to display the customer’s Accounts Payable department address.
