This release introduces a new, intuitive format for Capstone version numbers. For example, v23.04 is a version scheduled to be released in April 2023.

Physical inventory count records can now be added via the Manage Physical Inventory Snapshots program, which is accessed via the Inventory Snapshots menu.

As shown below, for heat-traceable inventory, the name of the vendor associated with the highlighted tag is now displayed in the lower-right corner of the Tag Detail screen. (This screen is accessed via several programs including Browse/Manage Inventory.)

If the user changes the value in the Order Date field on the Enter/Edit Sales Transactions program’s Header Info screen and one or more shipments are on file, the following error message will be displayed: "The order date can’t be changed when a shipment is on file.”

A new export called “Customer Invoice/Credit Activity” has been added. Keep in mind that, if any of your employees will be using this program, you must give them menu access via either the Manage Users or the Manage User Groups program.

The Print/Post GL Transactions program has been renamed Enter/Edit General Ledger Transactions. In addition to the printing and posting of batches automatically generated by Capstone, this program now allows transactions to be manually entered. To enter a batch of transactions, press [Tab] at the Batch # prompt.

As shown below, a refresh button has been added to the upper-right corner of the Fulfill Sales Orders screen. Because the default shortcut key throughout Capstone for the refresh button is (F5), the shortcut key for the [Process] button on this page was changed from (F5) to (F6).

The Fulfill Sales Orders program’s Pull and Process functions now support “Work Order” type lines.

When a sales quote is converted to an order and then back to a quote, Capstone now deletes the sales order header, allowing the quote to be converted to a sales order again in the future. (In previous versions, the order lines could be deleted but the header would be set to a “Closed” status. This would prevent the quote from being converted to an order a second time.)

The More Info screen accessed via the Enter/Edit Sales Transactions program’s Base Price Analysis pop-up window now lists the primary sales rep associated with the applicable sales transaction.

The Added Value Offset GL Account # prompt has been removed from the Manage Warehouses screen. The Offset General Ledger account for each Capstone “Added Value Type” record is now defined via the Manage Added Value Types program.

The Enter/Edit Work Orders program now supports an output type called “Work Order” meaning that the output of the current work order will become the input of another work order.

The Pull Location-Only Inventory program has been replaced by the Fulfill Sales Orders program.

Inventory minimum and maximum values specified in months now support two decimal places. For example, 1.25.
