Accounts Receivable-> Master Files-> Customers-> Customer Maintenance: There is now an option to include credit contact information for each customer. The new Credit Contact Info popup is also available from Customer Activity Inquiry and Credit Notes using the same Shift-F7 function key.
Accounts Payable-> Master Files-> Vendors-> Vendor Maintenance: There is now the ability to ‘retire’ a vendor.
The 1099 checkbox, Fed Tax ID and SSN prompts have been moved into a new popup window accessed via the ‘F8’ function key.
The Federal Tax ID and SSN prompts are only accessible if the 1099 box is set to ‘Yes’. When active, the Federal Tax ID and SSN prompts are mutually exclusive. Data entered into these prompts must be in the correct format. Federal Tax ID format is 12-1234567, while SSN format is 123-12-1234.
The new Vendor Status is available in the masking criteria of the Vendor Lookup screen. It has also been added to the selection criteria of several AP reports, including the Vendors List, Vendor Contacts List, and YTD Vendor Activity.
A retired vendor can not be used to enter a new Purchase Order.
