Sales Orders -> Processing -> Enter Orders/Quotes: As shown on the first screenshot below, “Will Call (Customer Waiting)” has been added to the list of delivery types at the “Type” prompt on the Delivery Information pop-up screen. As shown on the second screenshot below, this option is also available at the “Type” prompt on screen #2. This new delivery type is almost identical to the standard “Will Call” option. The main difference is that the shipper and/or picking ticket(s) associated with Will Call (Customer Waiting) sales orders can be automatically directed to a different printer or tray.
Sales Orders -> Setup/Miscellaneous -> Set Printer Defaults: You can now define default printers for Will Call (Customer Waiting) shippers and picking lists.
Accounts Receivable -> Master Files -> Customer Groups -> Customer Group Maintenance: You can now optionally define a printer that will be used for sales order form type 1, sales order acknowledgment form type 1, and shipper form types 1 and 23. If a printer is not defined for a document on this screen, the printer defined for that document on the Sales Orders -> Setup/Miscellaneous -> Set Printer Defaults screen will be used. For Will Call (Customer Waiting) sales orders, the printer defined for shippers on the Sales Orders -> Setup/Miscellaneous -> Set Printer Defaults screen takes precedence over the printer defined for shippers on this screen.
Inventory Control -> Master Files -> Picking Groups -> Picking Group Maintenance: You can now define default printers for picking lists associated with Will Call (Customer Waiting) sales orders.
Accounts Receivable -> Setup/Miscellaneous -> Send Invoice Payment Reminders: You can now send email reminders to customers for invoices that are approaching due, due, or past due based on settings on the Customer Maintenance and Payment Terms Maintenance screens.
Inventory Control -> Processing -> Work Orders -> CTL Orders: You can now print a stock tag or shipping label for just one tag by specifying the tag number. Also, both the stock tag and shipping label are now being sent to the printer defined on the Category Maintenance screen.
Inventory Control -> Reports/Inquiries -> Inventory Cost Comparison: This report now lists cost detail for each standard size.
Sales Orders -> Processing -> Enter Orders/Quotes: Multiple sizes functionality has been enhanced. If FastCAM optimization was used, inventory allocations are now automatically generated. The “Create allocations?” prompt has been removed. The “Generate lines?” prompt has also been removed. Now, when the user presses [F10], the lines are generated. Also, the user can now press
Sales Orders -> Processing -> Invoicing Procedures -> Process Orders for Shipment: When the packing list is being used to ship tags previously invoiced but held for future shipment (tags with an “H” status), if the user presses [F3] to access the Select HFS Tags to Ship screen, he or she can now press [F5] to unselect all tags. (All applicable HFS tags are selected by default.)
Miscellaneous Functions -> Setup/Miscellaneous -> Feature Initialization: Feature #1871 has been added. The title of the feature is “Should inventory allocations associated with quotes be considered when calculating available quantity?” While inventory reservations are only applicable to sales orders, you can allocate inventory to/for a quote. This feature controls whether allocations for quotes should be taken into consideration when computing available inventory quantity.
Sales Orders -> Reports/Inquiries -> Inventory Allocations List: This new report lists inventory allocations.
Sales Orders -> Reports/Inquiries -> Sales Analysis Reports -> Customer/Item History Report: Customer Group has been added to this report’s selection criteria.
Miscellaneous Functions -> Master Files -> Users -> User Maintenance: A new field permission has been added that controls the user’s access to the “Resale #” field on the Customer Maintenance screen.
Miscellaneous Functions -> Master Files -> Users -> User Maintenance: A new field permission has been added that will allow you to prohibit the user from being able to change the sales tax code(s) associated with a sales order or quote.
Miscellaneous Functions -> Master Files -> Warehouses: As shown below, a separate general ledger account can now be defined for quantity adjustments related to a physical inventory.
This new warehouse general ledger account is used as the offset account when a quantity adjustment is made via the Quantity/Cost Maintenance program and the inventory adjustment reason associated with that adjustment is dedicated to quantity adjustments associated with a physical inventory. The Inventory Adjustment Reason Properties screen is shown below. (Inventory adjustment reasons are defined via feature #1599.)
Inventory Control -> Master Files -> Standard Sizes -> Standard Size Maintenance: As shown below, for random-length standard sizes when the item is stocked in pounds, a new checkbox labeled “Optionally receive bundled or boxed material as multiple, single-piece tags” has been added to the “Core Standard Size Detail” screen.
When this new box is checked, the Receive Inventory program will prompt the user for the total number of pieces in the bundle/box, the total weight of the bundle/box, and the length of each individual piece. It will then calculate the unit weight of the bundle and use that unit weight to estimate the scale weight of each individual piece.
Sales Orders Forms: For WILL CALL orders, the warehouse address will print in the Ship-To section.
