Manage Customer Pricing

Users can now adjust pricing for different branches without logging out, switching branches, or running another instance of Capstone. This field is required and will default to the branch that the user is logged into. This change streamlines pricing management, enhancing efficiency and usability across different branches.

Customer, Customer Contact, Vendor and Vendor Contact Notes

Users with access to Notes can delete notes. Any changes only apply to Customer Notes, providing greater flexibility when managing notes.

Enter/Edit Work Orders

A repeat icon for the Item Code text box has been added on the Input Detail screen. This allows users to quickly add a second record for the same item, enhancing usability and streamlining the data entry process for repeated items.

Post Sales Invoices

Invoices can only be printed, emailed, or previewed after they are posted. This differs from the previous functionality that allowed invoices to be previewed in Post Sales Invoices. If users need to preview an invoice’s appearance and total before posting, they should preview or print the Packing List with prices enabled. This change is intended to streamline the invoicing process and ensure accuracy in the final documents.

Enter/Edit Purchase Orders

On the Line Detail screen, when adding a new line for a standard size set up as a random length and size, the unit of measure for the quantity ordered will default to the stocked-in unit specific to the item’s category.

Tag Information Inquiry

If a specified tag corresponds to a special-order item, the description entered in the Enter/Edit Sales Order Line Detail will display instead of the standard description associated with the item in Manage Items.

Fulfillment Documents

The delivery note entered in Enter/Edit Sales Order Header Info does not display all related fulfillment documents, including the SO Picking Ticket, SO Quick Cut Ticket, Production Ticket, Purchasing Ticket, and Fulfillment Ticket. This update ensures that important delivery information is consistently communicated across all order processing and fulfillment stages.

Warehouse Purchase Order Document

The Warehouse Purchase Order document has been renamed to Warehouse PO.

Manage Sales Order Shipments Documents

The subject line and body text of emails used to send a Shipment Documents Package have been enhanced to improve readability.

Enter/Edit Sales Quotes

The system's query for orphaned temporary sale quotes has been optimized for increased speed.

Workflow Menu

The fulfillment icon from the Workflow menu has been updated to enhance user accessibility. Users can now directly access the following screens through this icon: Fulfill One-Off Fab Orders, Fulfill Sales Orders, Enter/Edit Work Orders, and Enter/Edit Purchase.

Tags Export

Users can filter by user-defined fields in Tags Export, allowing for more customized data retrieval. Additionally, the resulting output in the Excel document includes the following columns:

  • Leg 1
  • Leg 2
  • Leg 3
  • Leg 4
  • Item Thickness
  • Low Thickness
  • High Thickness
  • Medium Thickness
  • Vendor Code

Manage Sales Attachments

The Sales Attachments screen has been enhanced to include attachments associated with quotes. This update provides a more comprehensive, centralized location to manage and view all related sales documents, improving the efficiency of handling sales transactions and customer interactions.

Manage System Properties

Line weights on various internal sales-related documents can be hidden. This includes SO Picking, SO Quick Cut, Production, Purchasing, and Fulfillment tickets.

Enter/Edit Sales Transactions Line Detail

The screen has been enhanced with a new feature that allows users to duplicate a particular line. This feature is accessible exclusively through the options menu. To utilize this duplication feature, automatic line numbering must be enabled for the order.

Enter/Edit Purchase Orders

Header Info has updated functionality for managing receipt dates. When the "Flag for Receipt Dateline by line" is set to "Yes," all line items on order automatically adopt the Receipt Date specified in the header. If the header lacks a Receipt Date, the system will default to the Order Date for all line items.
