Improved Dataset Selection for Reports
The latest EnVision release enhances the dataset selection process, making it easier to find and choose the right datasets when creating reports, including:
- Dataset Summaries to help users understand the types of reports that can be created.
- Business Area Sorting to enable quick filtering of datasets.
- Use the "Sort by" option to sort datasets by Business Area or report count.
- Use the "Filter by Business Area" selector to narrow the dataset list based on the report's focus.
- Related Reports Display to show linked reports for a selected dataset.
- Enhanced Search to look up datasets by name, Business Area, or description.
Release ID for Shipped Lines Dataset
The Release ID field is now available in the Shipped Lines dataset to track blanket order lines that have been released and shipped. This enables filtering and reporting on shipped lines associated with blanket orders.
Invoice Number for Sales Order Invoice Lines Dataset
The Invoice Number field has been added to the Sales Order Invoice Lines dataset, allowing users to identify the original invoice for each line. This supports filtering and grouping by invoice in reports.
Updates
- The “Product Type” field has been renamed to “Product Category."
- The “Order Date” field has been changed to “Invoice Date” in the Sales Order Invoice Lines dataset.
