Introducing EnVision AI

EnVision 1.4.0 introduces EnVision AI — a conversational analytics experience built directly into EnVision. Ask business questions in plain English and receive charts, tables, and reports in seconds. No report-building skills required.

EnVision AI complements the existing EnVision experience. Where Dashboards and Analyze provide structured, recurring views of business performance, EnVision AI provides a fast, flexible way to answer ad hoc questions on demand.

Ask Questions in Plain English

Type a business question — like "Show me my top 10 customers by profit this quarter" or "Compare sales by warehouse this year vs. last year" — and receive a visualization. The AI selects the appropriate dataset and chart type automatically.

Seven Visualization Types

EnVision AI automatically selects the best chart type for your question, or you can request a specific type. Supported visualizations include:

  • Pie — Categorical breakdowns (e.g., sales by product category)
  • Bar — Ranked comparisons (e.g., top customers by profit)
  • Line — Trends over time (e.g., monthly revenue by salesperson)
  • Column — Side-by-side comparisons (e.g., sales vs. profit by month)
  • Pareto — Root-cause analysis (e.g., credit memo reasons by contribution)
  • Table — Multi-column detail with sorting and totals
  • Pivot Table — Cross-tabulation with rows, time-period columns, and automatic totals

Save, Find, and Reuse Reports

Save any AI-generated report to the Analyze tab with one click. Saved AI reports appear alongside Traditional reports, organized by dataset and marked with an AI indicator so they're easy to distinguish at a glance.

Edit Reports Through Conversation

Open any saved AI report and click AI Edit to modify it through conversation. Change the chart type, adjust the date range, add or remove columns, apply filters, and more — all without rebuilding from scratch.

Share with Colleagues

Share reports directly from the chat or from the report view. Recipients receive an email notification and see the report in their Shared with Me list within the Analyze tab.

Export to CSV and Excel

Download table reports as CSV or XLSX files for offline analysis and distribution — directly from the chat or the report view.

Understand How the AI Built Your Report

Every AI response includes a tooltip that shows which dataset was queried, how the data was grouped, and a plain-language explanation of how the AI interpreted your question. Use it to verify results before sharing or to understand a colleague's shared report.

Data Coverage

EnVision AI queries across all 14 datasets in EnVision — including Sales, Purchasing/Inventory, Shipping, and Credit Memos. You don't need to know which dataset to use; the AI selects the appropriate data source based on your question.

Getting Access

EnVision AI is an account-level add-on to your existing EnVision subscription. Once enabled, it is available to all users on your account — no per-user setup and no additional software to install.

Request access by submitting the in-app form under the EnVision AI menu, or contact the Enmark Customer Success team at customersuccess@enmark.com.
