EnVision 1.4.4 introduces a new dashboard experience built specifically for AI-generated reports. AI Boards bring together the actions you need to author, organize, share, and present AI reports — including sharing with colleagues, copying tabs, fullscreen viewing, TV-mode kiosk display.

AI Boards: A new home for AI-generated reports
Dashboards now support a new AI Board type, designed specifically to host AI-generated reports alongside the existing Traditional Board experience. AI Boards are visually distinct from Traditional Boards, load through a dedicated dashboard experience, and are purpose-built for AI-generated reports — giving each kind of report its own tailored home. When adding a report to a board, EnVision guides the user toward the correct board type so that AI reports land on AI Boards and Traditional reports stay on Traditional Boards.
Creating an AI Board
When editing a dashboard's tabs, AI Board is now available as a board type alongside the Traditional Board option. Choose AI Board when you want to host AI-generated reports on the new experience.
The AI Board action bar
An action bar at the top of every AI Board surfaces the actions you need to manage the board day to day — entering edit mode, sharing with colleagues, copying tabs, refreshing data, and presenting in TV mode.
Each icon on the action bar maps to one of the following actions:
- Edit — Enter edit mode to add, rearrange, resize, or remove reports on the board.
- Share — Share the AI Board with EnVision colleagues.
- Copy Board — Copy this tab into the same or a different dashboard category.
- Refresh — Reload the board's reports with the latest data.
- TV Mode — Present the board in a kiosk-style auto-reloading view.
Each action is described in the sections that follow.
Editing an AI Board's layout
Clicking the Edit icon puts the AI Board into edit mode, where reports can be added, rearranged, resized, and removed. While editing, the action bar swaps in editing controls — Add Report, Save Changes, Cancel Changes, and Switch to View Mode — so you can build the board, save your work, or back out of changes.
Use the + button on any empty grid cell to add a report.
Drag widgets to rearrange the layout and drag corners to resize.
To remove a report from the board, open the three-dot menu on the report widget and choose Remove. The widget is taken off the board, freeing up its grid space for other reports.
If you navigate away from an AI Board while in edit mode with unsaved changes, EnVision now prompts you before leaving so in-progress layout work stays safe.
Working with reports on a board
Each report on an AI Board includes a header with quick actions for the widget itself, so you can interrogate, export, or expand a single report without leaving the board.
Logic information on each AI report shows the underlying definition the AI generated — a transparency aid when reviewing why a chart is showing what it is.
Export options are available per report, so individual widgets can be exported (e.g., to image or print) directly from the board.
Fullscreen mode opens any chart or table in a full-page overlay above the dashboard, making dense data easier to read without leaving the board.
Sharing AI Boards with colleagues
The Share icon on the action bar opens a sharing dialog so you can grant access to other EnVision users. Shared boards display the same Shared indicator already familiar from Traditional Boards — making it easy to tell at a glance which boards are shared.
Copying a board tab to another dashboard
The Copy Board icon duplicates the current board tab into the same or a different dashboard category. Choose the target category and enter a customizable name for the new tab — useful when you want to start a new board from an existing layout.
Renaming and deleting AI Board tabs
The three-dot menu on an AI Board tab provides the actions you need to manage the tab itself — including renaming and deleting.
If a user attempts to delete an AI report from the Analyze page while it's currently embedded on one or more dashboards, EnVision now displays a warning so the dashboards that depend on it can be protected.
Presenting an AI Board in TV mode
The TV Mode icon opens the AI Board in a kiosk-style auto-reloading view, ideal for displaying live dashboards on a wall-mounted monitor or large screen.
