Eniteo 13.02.30 Release Notes

This release delivers refinements and stability improvements across production, billing, tax, inventory, warehouse transfers, and document printing. Highlights include the ability for requestors to see their pending transfer requests awaiting approval and sharper minimum and maximum stock calculations, alongside a range of fixes that keep production order processing, billing, and inventory planning running smoothly.

See Your Pending Transfer Requests Awaiting Approval

When transfer approvals are enabled, requestors now see all of their submitted transfer requests awaiting approval directly in the Warehouse Transfers F2 grid. Each request you enter appears in the grid alongside its lines, giving requestors an at-a-glance view of every request they have submitted and its approval status.

To list your pending requests, select the From warehouse and leave the Transfer No. and To fields blank, as shown by the highlighted fields below. The grid then displays every request awaiting approval, and the Warehouse column on the right identifies the destination warehouse for each one.

Reservations Reflected in Minimum and Maximum Stock Calculations

When calculating minimum and maximum stock levels, Eniteo now includes open sales order reservations — both soft and hard — in accumulated usage. Reservations represent real demand on your inventory, so counting them produces daily usage figures that closely track how stock is actually moving, which in turn sharpens the suggested safety stock and reorder points that drive replenishment.

Transfer reservations and unreleased master blanket-order balances are excluded, so usage reflects true consumption without counting stock that is simply being repositioned between warehouses or still committed to an unreleased blanket order. Blanket order releases, which represent firm demand, are included.

The updated usage can be seen in the Calculate Min/Max application, where the higher accumulated usage flows through to the daily usage and the resulting minimum, maximum, safety stock, and reorder point values.

Bug Fixes

  • Billing: Fixed an issue where a deleted non-inventory sales order line could still appear in Billing. Deleted non-inventory lines are now removed from Billing as expected.
  • Credit Memo: Fixed an issue where crediting a fuel surcharge line returned an error requiring an exempt reason before the credit memo could be saved. Fuel surcharge lines can now be credited and saved successfully.
  • Document Printing: Fixed an issue where the Combine All Documents by BOL option could open an additional report window and return an error. Combining documents by BOL now completes and prints successfully.
  • Forms: Fixed an issue where the Secondary (French) Description from Item Master was not always used on forms when threading was enabled, and the primary description displayed instead. The Secondary Description now displays consistently on forms.
  • Production Order Entry: Fixed an issue where fully hard-reserving a sales order line could add an extra open row in the Production Order Entry sales order grid when the reserved pieces were larger than the ordered dimensions. The grid now reflects the hard-reserved line without an additional open row in this scenario.
  • Production Order Entry: Fixed an issue where the Customer column in the Production Order sales order grid was blank for transfer-sourced lines. The column now displays the destination (To Warehouse) name for transfer-sourced lines.
  • Production Order Processing: Fixed an issue where order line comments did not carry to the new row when Split Tag was used, and where removing a line from the BTS grid could clear processing and line comments. Order line and processing comments are now retained when splitting tags or removing lines.
  • Tax Calculation: Fixed an issue where the fuel surcharge amount was excluded from the GST taxable base when the customer was PST exempt but GST taxable. The fuel surcharge is now included in the GST taxable base in split GST/PST tax scenarios, so GST calculates on the material and surcharge together.
  • Warehouse Transfers: Fixed an issue where selecting a product from the search results in Warehouse Transfers did not filter the displayed tags to that exact product code. Selecting a product in Warehouse Transfers now filters the tag list to match the chosen product code.
  • Workstation Maintenance: Fixed an issue where the Unit Cost fields used with Value Add through Production did not honor the decimal precision configured in Application Control. These fields now respect the configured decimal settings, allowing costs such as $0.015 to be entered.
