Simplified App Updating

Scanner devices can be updated directly from within the application. When an updated version is available and a user logs in, a prompt will direct the user to update to the latest version.

Improved Tag Substitution

Scanner users can now allocate I tags to order lines with an S, W, P, T, or E tag reservations. This functionality is supported across the following transaction types:

  • Sales Orders

  • Transfers

  • Production Orders

Substitution Rules by Order Type

  • Sales Orders:
    Substitute S, W, P, T, or E soft-reserved tags with an I tag
    Substitute W, T, or P hard-reserved tags with an I tag

  • Transfers:
    Substitute S, W, P, T, or E soft-reserved tags with an I tag
    Substitute P or T hard-reserved tags with an I tag

  • PPOs:
    Substitution is not supported

  • Production Orders:
    Substitute S, W, P, T, or E soft-reserved tags with an I tag
    Substitute W hard-reserved tags with an I tag

Features

Tag substitution: When scanning an I tag on a reserved order line with reservations, the app automatically opens the Tag Picking screen with the new tag, ready for allocation.

Manual or scanned tag entry: Users can click on a reservation line to access the Tag Picking screen and enter a new tag using the scanner or by manually entering its details.

Picking confirmation: After scanning a new reserved tag, users receive a prompt to confirm the necessary tag allocation. After clicking Yes, the tag is available to select on the Tag Picking screen.

Picking validation and tag alternatives: If a user selects a line with a hard reserved W, P, or Q tag, the app notifies them that the reserved tag cannot be allocated. However, the application provides the ability for a user to allocate an alternative tag, if necessary.   

Production Order Support: 

When picking By Process or By Workstation, users can now substitute an I tag for a W or I tag that is hard-reserved on a production order line. Additionally, I tags can be allocated for any production order line with a soft reservation, regardless of tag type.

Additional Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with long measurements showing in scientific notation on the Reservation Line in specific cases.
  • Fixed an issue with error messages and notifications not being fully visible in some cases.
  • Updated the internet connection error message to be more descriptive.
